Contemplative healing practices help us to recognize that we are all gifted with the primordial wisdom of healing. In the Tibetan Bon tradition, practices to help us connect with the innate potential of healing have been done for thousands of years. In this special Weekend Retreat, Tempa Lama will offer instructions and transmission of the traditional Bon healing meditation practice of Sidpa Gyalmo, the chief protector of the Bon tradition. Through the healing meditation practice of Sidpa Gyalmo we can clear both physical illness and disturbances in our mind and feelings. The practice opens us to our innate potential to heal ourselves and to help others heal.

This Retreat is suited both for those who are new to this practice and those who have practiced this healing practice previously. A booklet with detailed explanation of the healing practice, written by Tempa Lama, will be available for purchase at the Retreat.

The Retreat is for all who are interested in healing, including those who personally need healing, those who are working with others who are ill, and everyone with an interest in Bon practice and the Bon healing tradition.

Tempa Dukte Lama is an ordained Tibetan Bon lama. He is the founder and spiritual director of Olmo Ling Bon Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Tempa Lama is an artist and poet and author of two books with Olmo Ling Publications, the first Bon publishing house which he founded in 2011.
