The Spiritual Life and Journey

Pittsburgh, PA with Tempa Dukte Lama

Saturday November 23, 9:30am-5pm

Olmo Ling Bon Center, 1101 Greenfield Ave, Pittsburgh PA 15217

In this daylong workshop we will explore how spiritual practice can nurture our life – our mind, heart, and body, and our relationships with family and friends. Tempa Lama will share about the preciousness of our life and the wisdom of the spiritual journey. He will guide participants in exploring how we can choose practices that can become a skillful means to help us grow spiritually.

This workshop is for all who would like to deepen their understanding of what the spiritual path is. It is meant to address the needs of both beginners and those who have been practicing for a while. The workshop will evolve through a close dialogue between Tempa Lama and participants. For those who are relatively new to nurturing their lives through a spiritual path, the workshop provides an opportunity to learn more about how we can support our aspiration through practice. Tempa Lama will give an overview of the different practices of Bon and provide guidance on how to choose a personal daily spiritual practice and how to practice during the day and night. For those who are already on a spiritual journey, Tempa Lama will offer guidance on how we can recognize the maturity of our journey and its benefits in our life, and how we can integrate our spiritual experience with our life and turn it into the foundation for the next step.

Tempa Lama recommends that all those who have received meditation instructions or teachings during the past years at Olmo Ling join him for this opportunity to strengthen their spiritual path.
