In this daylong workshop Tempa Lama will give an introduction to the ancient Tibetan Bon tradition and its teachings contained in the Nine Successive Ways of Bon.
‘Bon’ means ‘Boundlessness’. Its essence is the truth that lies within everything, pervading throughout time and space. Bon originated within the ancient culture of the Zhang-Zhung civilization of Tibet. Its founder was the Awakened One, Tonpa Shenrab, born as a prince in Olmo Lung Ring. The teachings of Tonpa Shenrab are characterized under the Nine Ways of Bon. In this workshop, the focus is on the Fifth Way, the Way of the Lay Practitioner.
