Chod Healing Prayer Ritual with Tempa Dukte Lama
A ritual to clear obstacles and strengthen health and wellbeing for the new year

Please join us to experience the transformative healing power of a half-day Chod prayer ritual to clear obstacles for this new year 2019. Tempa Dukte Lama will perform this special ritual for the benefit of our community supported by senior students. The prayer ritual is a powerful practice for clearing obstacles toward wellbeing, good health, prosperity and longevity, and for strengthening our family relationships.
We human beings are constantly affected by changes in our lives, difficult relationships, illness, pain and suffering. If we cannot find a way to deal with these difficulties, we may develop fear and anxiety. The Chod ritual prayer opens up the possibility of clearing the underlying karma so that we may experience happiness and healing. It can heal difficult physical or mental conditions that may not respond to medical treatment as expected. Sometimes our karmic conditions cause a hindrance to treatment or force us to make wrong choices that may worsen our situation instead of leading to healing. In such cases the power of ritual prayer can help find balance and open the way to new possibilities of healing, joy, and prosperity. Moreover, the ritual supports us in reconnecting with our true nature of purity and joy.
Registration and opportunity to support the healing prayers
The ritual is offered for $25 (Olmo Ling members) and $30 for non-members in order to make it easier for anyone to attend. Children through age 16 attend for free. We invite you to offer a donation to support the healing ritual prayers and help us maintain the variety of programs offered through Olmo Ling temple. If you cannot personally attend the prayer ritual, making a donation is a wonderful opportunity to partake in the blessings and merit of this ritual and to support Bon practice in the West. You can dedicate your donation to family members and friends in need by emailing us their names.
